Cold-rolled or Hot-rolled sheets for raw materials of spiral submerged arc welded steel pipes
The raw material of spiral submerged arc welded pipe is strip or coil, which belongs to hot rolled plate.
Hot rolled plate, or hot rolled steel plate or strip, commonly known as hot plate, is usually rolled into a tied character, such as hot tied plate, but they all refer to the same hot rolled plate. Refers to steel plates with widths greater than or equal to 600 mm and thickness of 0.35-200 mm and strips with thickness of 1.2-25 mm. Cold rolled sheet is rolled from hot rolled coil at room temperature and recrystallization temperature.
The difference between hot-rolled and cold-rolled plates is as follows:
Hot rolled steel plate is divided into structural steel, low carbon steel, welded cylinder steel, and then according to various steel to find the steel you need, in order to find the density and composition of specific steel. Hot rolled steel plate has low hardness, easy processing and good ductility. Cold rolled sheet has high hardness and relative strength.
